Officially a chef: Fish version 2.0

Not so long ago, I published  a post about the banquet my brother and his class hosted. if you haven’t read it, you can click Here

Today, after an extremely long day, we walk in to see this:

He is officially a chef. Words will never beable to express just how proud I am of my baby brother this far through his journey!

This is just the beginning boytjie, you have a long way to go but I can see you going even further. Continue with your momentum and always stay true to yourself.

From where you were, to where you are… Any big sister would be proud but I’m that times infinity.

Mubarak on your achievement lil bro, may Allah ta Allah make your next year achievable. May he continue blessing you and may he accompany you on your journey through the majestical world of the Culinary Arts. Aameen

Love you and once again, I am so proud of you. Keep that head up!

Thoughtful Tuesday

To be legendary is to be without many.

When you know what you want out of life and are willing to not just settle, we think that there would be people cheering us on. Truth is: there will be BUT not nearly as much as those who will dispise you, hate you and envy you.

When you know your worth and know that you will not settle. Stand tall and stand your ground because it’s OK not to conform.

People will tell you: “you think you know it all”, they will say: ” she thinks she’s better than everybody.”  And they will definitely hit you with the “you will learn” line.

I say: Aslong as your grind does not infringe on another persons rights ( not likes or views) but rights, If it is morally correct and is in line with your religious beliefs and if the intention of whatever it is you doing is pure… Then you do it and do it the best you can.

People are intimidated by those who know what they want and those who go after what they want… Don’t ever let it dull your sparkle because as I always say: what people think or say about you is none of your business… 🙂✌🏼️

Spiritual Sunday

When ever any calamity strikes, it’s important for us to ponder over why it’s striking and what lessons are meant to be learnt from it.
It’s equally important for us to take a step back and see how we as individuals can better ourselves from it; Making us grow as people and stronger in and more faithful to our deen (faith) Allahuakbar: Allah really is the greatest.

Lessons learnt by an ordinary girl through life’s ordinary hurdles.

May we all strive to be patient when a calamity strikes and be better when we approach them, by the almighty’a grace, aameen
